Luma means light and clarity. Resolutions represents firm decisions, clear outcomes, and the act of resolving a problem. Luma Resolutions was created to help people find clarity, confidence, and calm during some of the most stressful financial situations of their lives. The name Luma was inspired by the name a young girl gave to her worry doll bought from an occult store; a tiny handmade figure dressed in bright colours that she whispers her worries to at night. Worry dolls, traditionally from Guatemala, are believed to “hold” your worries while you sleep, giving your mind a chance to rest. Children share their fears with the dolls and place them under their pillows at night; by morning, the dolls are believed to have taken the worries away. For this little girl Luma offers her comfort, safety and the feeling of being supported when things feel too big to carry alone.
